Lower Primary Class
THURSDAYS at 5 - 6pm

Ages 5-8
: Focus: Age appropriate drama activities encourage children to act out their imagination and to speak up and speak clearly. A safe, yet silly environment encourages both shy children and the natural "hams."
THIS CLASS MEETS THURSDAYS at 5pm at dcp theatre - it is also held in other locations including Collegeville/Trappe, Eagleville, Pottstown (Wynnecroft School Students Only) & Springford.

Lower Primary Program Overview
The Drama Kids developmental drama program for Lower Primary provides young children ages 5 to 8 with unique opportunities to develop clear speech, fluent delivery and pleasing social skills.
Our program helps to give them the confidence to be participants in all aspects of their lives, able to ask questions, seek answers and share information with others. Children who mix well with others find it easier to make friends and adjust to new situations. They find school an enjoyable adventure!
Drama Kids highly trained teachers motivate and inspire the students to become articulate communicators through enthusiastic participation in a wide range of creative activities including speech, creative movement, improvisation, and a special year-end performance.

Upper Primary Class
THURSDAYS at 6 - 7pm at dcp
Ages 9-12: Focus: This class nurtures independent and creative thinking through improvisation and character exploration, improves communication verbally and non-verbally and can even help with your child's academic success. Active and fun theater games foster social growth and appreciation of others. There is lots of fun, dramatic play, encouragement and guidance.
Classes also held in Collegeville/Trappe, Eagleville, Pottstown (Wynnecroft School Students Only) & Springford.

Upper Primary Program Overview
The confident, articulate child finds it easier to make friends, accept new challenges and explore new directions. The Drama Kids Upper Primary program for children ages 9-11 is designed to help each child achieve these invaluable life skills.
Students in our Upper Primary program participate in a wide range of creative activities including speech, dramatic movement, improvisation, snippets and scene starters.
At the end of each year they utilize all the skills acquired during the year to create a short, scripted production, which is performed, for parents and friends.
In a fun-filled atmosphere, our classes aim to give young people ongoing confidence, self-esteem and skill in verbal communication.

NEW! Acting Academy
MONDAYS at 5:30 at dcp
Ages 12-17: Focus: In this class, young people are able to develop a strong sense of self as well as knowledge and skill in theater arts. Intriguing theater games allow for a healthy release of emotion as well as foster independent & critical thinking. This class builds confidence, presentation skills, auditioning skills and acting ability through an accelerated drama curriculum. New students welcome...no experience necessary. Class also held in Collegeville/Trappe.

DKI Acting Academy Program Overview
DKI Acting Academy is open to all students ages 12-18 who wish to explore, and expand their speaking, acting and auditioning skills.
Our Acting Academy is an excellent way for middle and high school students to explore and expand their acting and auditioning skills through our accelerating drama activities and performances.
DEVELOPMENTAL DRAMA CLASSES AT DCP THEATRE ARE PART OF THE THEATRE'S COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM TO SUPPORT & ENHANCE THE FUTURE OF THE DRAMATIC ARTS! CLASSES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH DRAMA KIDS INTERNATIONAL.
