Shelly is a young girl with a disability who attends Winterfalls High school along with Joe, the school bully. Shelly thinks she has nothing to offer to the world despite the encouragement of her loving family. Joe gets in trouble when he bullies Shelly and then has to help set up for the big holiday concert after school.  He works with the schools temporary custodian, Mr. Bruce. Mr. Bruce tries to give advice to Joe, but does Joe hear it? Shelly struggles with the words that Joe has said to her, and does she feel anger towards Joe? Together both of the students will find a way to discover what is unique about each of their lives with the background of the holiday spirit. This story will help us all to learn that sometimes a simple gift from the heart can be the best gift ever.
